Supplies
Prepare the needed supplies to make a hair streamer. Hair tie, 2 inches of 3/8″ ribbon, 20 inches of 3/8″ ribbon, 20 inches of 5/8″ ribbon, 20 inches of 7/8″ ribbon, & 20 inches of 1 1/2″ ribbon. Embellishment is optional.

Step 1
Finish each of the ribbon ends using the V cut.

Step 2
Take each of the ribbons and stack them one on top of the other from largest to smallest.

Step 3
Mark the center of the ribbons with a pencil.

Step 4
Take the threaded needle and weave it through the center of the ribbons.

Step 5
Weave down and back up through the ribbons two times.

Step 6
Pinch the ribbons on each side of the needle.

Step 7
Wrap the thread around the center of the ribbons a few times and pull tightly to cinch up the ribbons.

Step 8
Place a hair tie at the center of the ribbons and continue wrapping the thread around the ribbons and through the hair tie. Knot the thread to the back of the ribbons and cut off the remaining thread with scissors.

Step 9
Take the 2 inch length of ribbon and secure the end to the back of the ribbons with glue. Wrap the ribbon around the center of the ribbons and secure with glue.

Step 10
Attach your embellishment 🙂
